In the past, Zach Granit held several managerial positions in the communication field, including the general director of the Regional Radio Stations Association and the Programing director of Channel 10 TV. Since 2003, he has held several senior positions in the field of culture, including Head of Culture Administration at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and Deputy Director of the Israel Museum. In 2016, he was appointed the General Director of the Israeli Opera, and since 2024 he serves as the Artstic Director of the Israeli Opera. In addition, he was a lecturer for Communications Law and for Cultural Policy at the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Academic College, and led several educational projects at the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. As part of his public activity, Zach Granit served as the Chairman of “Nalaga’at” Center, the Chairman of “Hasifriya” Theater, and as a member of the Suzanne Dellal Center’s executive committee.
