Yifat Turbiner

Dr. Yifat Turbiner is a seasoned intrapreneur and innovation leader with over 25 years of experience across academia, high-tech, and government sectors. She has a proven track record of driving successful ventures and fostering progress in diverse environments. Her experience includes managing university relations for the Embassy of Israel in the UAE and leading innovation initiatives. She currently serves as a lecturer in innovation and entrepreneurship at the Management Faculty of Ben Gurion University.
Dr. Turbiner has extensive expertise in facilitating collaborations between startups and multinational corporations, developed through roles at Intel, IBM, and various startups. She has also held key government positions, including Economic Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Director of International Cooperation for Industrial R&D, and Head of the Economic Mission of Israel to the Southwest US.
Dr. Turbiner has served on the boards of directors for organizations such as the Israeli Investment Center and the Industrial Development Bank of Israel and has participated in strategic R&D planning committees.
Her research focuses on the development of innovation ecosystems and the impact of informal gatherings on innovation competence. Dr. Turbiner’s areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, policy, and open innovation. She is a recognized change agent who consistently pushes boundaries.
