Yadin Kaufmann

Yadin Kaufmann is a long-time venture capitalist and social entrepreneur in Israel. He co-founded Veritas Venture Partners (1990) and Tmura (2002). To help create a Palestinian start-up ecosystem, Kaufmann co-founded Sadara Ventures (2011), The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) (2014), and The Palestinian Mentorship Program (PMP) (2020). He also initiated an effort to help finance partnerships between Palestinian tech companies and companies in the US and Israel, which helped lead the US Congress to pass the Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA) in 2020.

Kaufmann received his B.A. from Princeton, M.A. from Harvard, and J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. He spoke at TEDx in Rome. His article, “Start-Up Palestine: How to Spark a West Bank Tech Boom,” appeared in Foreign Affairs (July/Aug. 2017).
