Leonardo (Leo) Leiderman is Professor of Economics at the Berglas School of Economics and the Coller School of Management, Tel Aviv University. He is also the Chief Economic Advisor of Bank Hapoalim. Among previous senior positions, Leiderman was Head of the Research Department at the Bank of Israel and Chief Economist for Emerging Markets at Deutsche Bank. Prof. Leiderman’s research has focused on topics such as monetary policy, inflation targeting, exchange rates and capital flows, and Israel’s economy.
