Mattson is known globally as a cybersecurity innovator with over 25 years of diverse experiences as an enterprise CISO, technology strategist, and startup advisor across technology, retail and financial industry verticals. He serves today as the CISO for Endor Labs, and he specializes in the future of software security. Previously, Mattson served in CISO leadership roles at Noname Security (Acquired by Akamai), City National Bank, and PennyMac Financial Services. Additionally, he serves on the board for the Cyber Future Foundation, along with prior leadership roles with FS-ISAC, the LA Cyber Lab InfraGard, and a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy. He has served on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Minnesota and Carnegie Mellon University. He holds an MBA from Auburn University and a MS from Boston University. Mattson is a US Army veteran, serving 8 years of active duty. He is an active investor in and advocate for the Israeli cybersecurity startup ecosystem.
