Gabriel Shachor is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in defense, security, and advanced AI systems. He currently serves as the CEO of Cassiopeia Aero-Technologies, a consulting firm specializing in these fields. Since 2021, he has provided strategic planning, business development, and expert consulting services to international corporations, focusing on driving sales growth and achieving measurable results. From 2021 to 2022, Shachor also held the role of CEO on a consulting contract at Pomicell, where he guided the strategic direction of an AI SaaS platform for biomedical research, helping to streamline R&D processes through innovative AI model creation. Prior to this, he was the Founder and CEO of Sky Sapience from 2010 to 2021. Under his leadership, the company became a pioneer in tethered drone technology, providing advanced surveillance and communication solutions to defense, communication, and enterprise markets. He led the company from inception to global success, achieving significant sales and overseeing its acquisition by a U.S.-based communications company. Additionally, he served as a Board Member of ROD Radar, contributing to its growth in the construction industry. Shachor has also held roles with Elbit Systems Ltd. and Pitango VC, advising on unmanned aircraft technologies and identifying investment opportunities in advanced technological ventures. A Brigadier General (Reserves) in the Israeli Air Force, Shachor served for 28 years, commanding two operational flight squadrons, leading force development plans, and commanding Palmachim Air Base. He currently serves as Deputy Commander of the IAF’s Northern Division (Reserve) and has received a military decoration for bravery in enemy territory.
