Dr. Michael Hauzer, MD, MPH, is a family medicine specialist, a Hadassah School of Medicine and the Hebrew University graduate with a master’s degree in public health from The Braun School of Public and Community Medicine. Presently, he serves as the Head of the Innovation and Research Unit at Clalit Health Services in the Haifa District. In this capacity, Dr. Hauzer leads various research endeavors and initiatives. Additionally, he holds the role of Secretary for the Israeli Society for the Prevention of Overdiagnosis and Overtreatment. Dr. Hauzer is equally dedicated to education. He actively imparts his knowledge to medical students and residents and plays a pivotal role in teaching research methods and clinical practices to Technion medical students. His core mission revolves around advancing healthcare through innovation and evidence-based approaches. Dr. Hauzer is renowned for his expertise in epidemiological studies, data-driven methodologies, and advocacy for integrating machine learning and AI into healthcare.
