His research has been featured in Harvard Business Review, MIT Technology Review and the Wall Street Journal among others. He is the recipient of multiple early career awards as well as being recognized as “40 Under 40” by Poets and Quants Magazine (2022). Beyond academia, Lior is also an award-winning curator, writer, and artist whose work blends artistic inquiry with technological critique. He has created interactive installations and performances that explore themes such as surveillance, digital labor, and algorithmic control, and has exhibited at venues including the Tribeca Film Festival, Albright Knox Museum and Secession Vienna. His interdisciplinary approach bridges theory and practice, making him a frequent collaborator in both cultural and innovation-driven spaces.
