Dr. Dorit Dor is the Co-founder of Qbeat Ventures, a venture capital focused on quantum technologies. Qbeat invests in exceptional entrepreneurs in quantum technologies to build transformative companies. In addition, Dorit serves on the board of Qubit.IL, the quantum Israeli community.

Dr. Dorit Dor helped shape Israel’s tech ecosystem over three decades as CPO and CTO of Check Point Software Technologies, where she led global R&D, product strategy, and numerous M&A deals. She played a pivotal role in scaling the company from a small team to a global industry leader.

A globally recognized expert in cybersecurity, active angel investor and a prominent figure in Israel’s startup and venture capital communities. She leverages her strong connections within the IDF’s elite Unit 8200 alumni network and serves on the Technion Council, one of the world’s top sources of quantum and physics talent. In 1993 she won the Israel National Defense Prize.
She holds a PhD in computer science, complexity and algorithms, with hands-on expertise in high-performance computing.

Dorit participated in global forums such as the World Economic Forum and the Cyber Threat Alliance. where she covered cybersecurity, AI, and quantum technologies, as well as a champion of leadership and diversity in tech. She is board member, advisor and regular speaker at premier cybersecurity and technology conferences worldwide as well as judge in innovation competitions e.g., RSA Innovation Sandbox, helping to spotlight and support the next generation of innovators.
