David Sable serves as Vice Chairman at Stagwell, a marketing network focused on industry transformation. He is a Co-Founder and Partner at DoAble and a LinkedIn Influencer, known for his insights on business and social activism. A published children’s author, he advocates for bipartisan legislative initiatives and efforts to combat gun violence, hunger, bullying, and inequality.

Previously, Sable was Global CEO and Chairman of Y&R, leading its creative growth, expanding its healthcare and B2B capabilities, and integrating VML into VMLY&R. With over 40 years in advertising, he has worked with Fortune 10 companies and startups. His career began at Y&R in 1976, followed by roles at Wells Rich Greene and co-founding Mimsar, an Israeli agency serving leading defense and tech firms. He also served as a combat medic in the IDF.

Returning to the U.S., Sable held leadership positions at Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe before rejoining Y&R. In 1990, he led Y&R’s global Colgate-Palmolive account, pioneering its first coordinated product launch. He later co-founded Genesis Direct and helped transform Wunderman into a digital and data-driven agency. His leadership spanned accounts such as Microsoft, Dell, IBM, AT&T, and Kraft.

Sable has served as Chairman of the Advertising Council and Jury President at Cannes. He is on the boards of UNICEF/USA, the International Special Olympics, and UNCF, and advises companies including Fiverr and 888. He and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters and five grandchildren.
