As Vice President of Semiconductor Engineering at Google Cloud, Guy spearheaded the growth of the Server Processor VLSI team from 140 to 550 engineers, establishing robust in-house capabilities and advancing Google’s strategic goal of semiconductor independence. He successfully executed an aggressive product roadmap, overseeing the concurrent development of four complex chips from prototyping to full production, and expanded leadership by launching a new product line in Networking.
Prior to Google, as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Switching BU at Marvell Semiconductor, Guy tripled revenues from ~$200M to >$600M in three years, and improved operating margins from -5% to 25%. He led the $1.1B acquisition of Innovium Technologies and drove cutting-edge technologies like 5nm/3nm process nodes and multi-die solutions. His leadership at Marvell Israel, managing a site of ~650 employees, included leading the engineering integration of Cavium after its $6B acquisition.
