Roy is a Managing Partner at Random Forest VC. He is passionate about turning zeros into ones, and had substantial track record in management, strategic planning, and capital disribution throughout his career. He is a qualified lawyer with an LL.B in law and business, complemented by an MBA from the I&E program at Reichman University. At the age of 23, Roy embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing a start-up in the media industry. He later on assumed the role of CEO at Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park (also known as Cyber Park), where he played a pivotal role in converting a piece of desert land into a flourishing hub of technological innovation and the future landscape of Israeli technologies. Under his leadership, the park became a collaborative success for startups, multinational R&D centers, government offices, academia research, and private investors, leading to the creation of over 80 R&D centers of top tech companies and creating over 4,000 tech job opportunities in Israrl’s southern Negev region. He has an extensive network in the global tech industry and proven expertise in fostering innovative ecosystems and driving economic growth at scale. He is also a keen supporter of human capital empowerment as a means of visionary leadership. Additionally, Roy contributes his expertise as an advisor to Innovation BaseCamp, which focuses on launching technology parks and tech-driven ecosystems worldwide. Roy’s IDF background includes serving as a tank commander and as a leading analyst in the Armored Corps’ statistical data pool. He is happily married to Gal and is father to three adorable boys.
