Project Manager, Quality Employment, Jerusalem Municipality Einat Mesterman joined Jerusalem Municipality in 2021, determined to place the issue of quality employment opportunities for East-Jerusalem residents high on the Jerusalem Municipality and public agendas. Today, Einat initiates and runs pilot programs on a national level, as well as developing innovative tools and materials for field staff. Einat is leading the Meir’s agenda to build a High-Tech Park in east Jerusalem and her work focuses on opening company’s doors to the potential workers from East Jerusalem, building a professional ecosystem and managing EasTech, the new High-Tech Hub in East Jerusalem. https://easttech.ravpage.co.il/about-eastech Einat’s prior experience includes working at JDC-Tevet as a senior program manager where she was supervising teams of managers and coordinators who were implementing various efforts to integrate people with disabilities, young people at risk and people from the Arab community all over Israel into the workforce; fostering cooperative relations with government agencies, local authorities, and NGOs; lecturing and teaching courses and in-service training seminars; and representing JDC-Israel at conferences and with missions of international donors. She also served as a teaching and research assistant in the departments of anthropology and sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Einat earned a B.A. in international relations, sociology, and anthropology, and an M.A. in anthropology, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She lives in Modi’in with her husband and three sons.
